Trains, Trains, and more Trains

We went to a fun event on Saturday at the Colorado Railroad Museum, where Thomas the train was visiting. Jack got to see all kinds of trains, play with trains, and even ride on Thomas the Tank Engine.  He was in heaven!

We also spent a big chunk of time working on the stove again this weekend. It's almost done. We just need to finish the top. Here it is before, all rusty and in pieces...

Here it is now, except for the top. Hopefully, we'll get that finished next weekend. Right now, it's sitting in my craft room. I'm not sure where it will reside permanently.

IVF Baby Reunion

The Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine had a neat event at the zoo today to celebrate 25 Years and 15,000 IVF babies. They had lunch for everyone, games and face painting (which Jack refused to do), a cute stuffed animal for all the kids, a photobooth, and of course visits around the zoo.
It was really neat to get a chance to visit with our doctor, Dr Robert Gustafson, and introduce him to Jackson. Here are a few pictures from the day:

These are some of the kids...we are in the picture to the far right, but you can't see us in these unofficial pics because Mike was standing to the side as he took them. Getting tons of small children to stay put for a group photos was as hard as you'd imagine.

Jackson refused to share his snack with daddy, so daddy was sad.

Jack decided he liked cotton candy, but he didn't like it sticking to his hands.
