Today, we went to Northwest Trek just for a quick day outing. It was a fun little zoo. They have a big open area and they drive you through on a tram to see the animals. They just have animals that are native to the region. The weather held off really well until the last 10 minutes, when we got soaked walking back to the car.
This bobcat had a cute story. A couple found him abandoned as a kitten and took him home, thinking he was really a kitten. Surprise! They gave him to the wildlife park when he started to grow up.
