Here's out cute new little camper. We bought it in late February, so we've had to wait a little while to try it out. We took it to Bay View State Park last weekend to test it for the first time. The weather was cold, windy, and then wet, so not perfect but we had fun anyway.
It's not the best state park, but it's cute. It's pretty small as far as other state parks we've been to and was made smaller by the fact that an entire loop of the campground was closed (looked like maybe closed for a few years?).
It does have a nice beach area, but it was so windy it was hard to enjoy it.
There was a kite surfer out taking advantage.
Mike tried to use his kite, but it was actually too windy and trashed it pretty quick.
Bay View State part is right near Mt. Vernon so we also went to see the tulips. It's early in the season, so not everything was in bloom yet, but it was still really pretty with plenty of color.
Can you see the Seahawk?
Sunday, the weather was less windy, but more wet. We still spent some time hanging out on the beach. We came home on Monday, but without the camper, which we dropped off at the dealership on the way to get a window seal fixed.
With the wind and rain you'll be glad to have the window seal fixed. Mike looks like he could be on a cranberry farm with those boots, serious wet weather gear. The tulips are beautiful, would like to see them some time.
