Day 6-8: Dinosaur and Steamboat Springs

We drove most of the day to get from Montana to Dinosaur National Monument. We arrived late, had dinner and set up camp.  We were worried about this campsite and predicted 90+ heat with no hookups, but we got lucky. A small thunderstorm rolled through-didn't drop much moisture but sure cooled things off.  It was still a bit hot to sleep, but not nearly as bad as expected.  In the morning, we had breakfast, spent a couple hours looking around at DNM and then were on the road again!

After Dinosaur, we arrived in Steamboat Springs.  We stayed here a day and a half. We stayed at a KOA with a pool so Jackson enjoyed that, and some mini golf while we caught up on laundry and cleanup. We also went to town and hit up a really nice farmer's market and Art in the Park.  We were all tired so a little slower pace here, and I didn't take much in the way of pictures.  Next stop in Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park.
